Online music school with five years of experience and students
from over 15 countries.
Methodology & curriculum
Today, Espacio Sonoro operates exclusively online through one-on-one lessons.
Despite this personalized approach, the program follows a structured curriculum
covering everything from fundamental concepts to advanced production
techniques.
History
Founded by DJ and producer William Arist,
Espacio Sonoro first operated in Montevideo,
Uruguay, within the facilities of AUDEM (Uruguayan Association of Musicians) as part of
EMA (AUDEM's School of Music), leading the
department of new technologies and digital
music production.
Over time, and due to the impact of the COVID-19
pandemic, the school expanded internationally through online courses, making its training accessible to
students worldwide.
Some of the topics covered include:
Ableton Live (interface, menus, general functions)
Beyond technical knowledge, Espacio Sonoro provides individualized mentoring, tailoring the course to each student's interests, aspirations, and artistic goals while maintaining a structured curriculum.
This approach ensures a personal and human-centered learning experience,
fostering each student's creative growth.
